The DAISY Award represents nurses who exemplify the nursing values of extraordinary compassion, courage, and integrity in every situation.  These individuals consistently demonstrate excellence in the delivery of patient care and promotion of their professional nursing practice.

Here at Parkridge Valley Adult, there is an individual who stands out and exhibits all of the above nursing attributes, Elisabeth Stubblefield.  Elisabeth is an extraordinary person and clinician.  She is highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable, and a compassionate team player who consistently displays and promotes high clinical standards.  There has never been a time that Elisabeth has not brought her very best in the delivery of care to our patients.  Many times, Elisabeth has been assigned different roles, on different units.  Elisabeth never once complained, instead, she would set the bar high by being willing to adjust to any task given to her all the while doing it with great joy.  Elisabeth is valued by every team member here at Parkridge Valley Adult. Many times, patients will request Elisabeth to be their nurse because of the extraordinary nursing values she brings when caring for them.

Elisabeth is always available to her teammates to support staff and works tirelessly to make sure the units she is assigned to are running smoothly.  In an extremely demanding role, Elisabeth takes time to listen to our patients' concerns, validate their feelings, and work with them collaboratively to find a solution to their issues.  Her positive attitude and willingness to help others make her an invaluable asset to our team.  She continues to make a positive impact on the lives of those around her.  With all that being said, we wholeheartedly nominate Elisabeth Stubblefield for the DAISY Award.
