When I learned about the DAISY Award, I immediately thought of Sarah Bromert. She is the most compassionate, caring, and nurturing nurse. We are blessed to have her as mom’s cellular therapy nurse coordinator. She is one “angel on earth” who always goes “above and beyond”. She gives us comfort and care when needed. She educates us on the CAR-T cell therapy process and truly listens with her heart.

Her positive attitude and warmth show she truly cares about us. She is highly intelligent and shows her strong critical thinking skills along with her vast knowledge of the CAR-T process which can be overwhelming. Especially for Mom, who is 73. Sarah explains the process in a way mom, and I can understand. We know she is always smiling which can be seen in her eyes and in her voice even with a mask on. Her warmth shows through her gentle voice which calms Mom. Which makes Mom realize how much she truly cares about her. She knows Sarah is always there for us when we have questions or need anything.

As the seasons pass, we are thankful and feel blessed to have Sarah as our nurse to help us navigate Mom’s CAR-T Therapy process.
