Kim calls to check on our kids after appointments, even if she wasn't working that day or we didn't see her.
Kim always goes above and beyond. She listens to all the fine details and makes sure we get the help we need. Kim calls to check on our kids after appointments, even if she wasn't working that day or we didn't see her.
My daughter used to hate going to the doctor and is petrified of shots and needles. Now she gets excited to go and see Kim. Kim always talks or plays with the kids, and always has a prize. Even after a shot, our daughter still loves Kim. Kim is amazing at calming her and down and making her forget all about the shot. Kim's heart and compassion are one of her most significant contributions to nursing.
Kim trained employees while we were visiting the doctor and she did an amazing job. As a role model? My daughter wants to be just like her. Kim always lets our daughter see the "tools" she is using and shows her how they work before using them. She plays "nurse/doctor" dress-up all the time.

Kim Wilson works beside me every single day providing the best care she is capable of. I truly believe she helps me be a better person, coworker, and provider. She is an extraordinary person and nurse. She absolutely goes out of her way to assist in the care of patients every single day. She works with the patients to help improve communication, safety, and compliance.
Patients will often times call and ask to speak to her directly and only her because they feel so comfortable with her. Patients appreciate that she is involved and knowledgeable about their health and care. Patients comment on a daily basis about how much they appreciate her compassion and patience. Kim will call the pharmacy to clarify medications, she will call appropriate family members or other healthcare offices to make sure we have all the information we need to provide the best and safest possible care for patients. She also brightens the day of the small children who come to the office by giving them prizes so that they enjoy their trips to the clinic and aren't as scared when they have to come back. She is truly one of a kind and absolutely goes out of her way every single day to help patients and their families.
On a personal note, she absolutely makes sure that I take care of myself. As health care providers we are terrible patients, she will encourage me to make an appointment and do what she can to make sure that I am caring for myself as well. Kim has a heart of gold and it is a privilege to work with her every single day. She makes my life better and I know she makes the patient's better.
