A real nurse not only nourishes the physical body, but they nourish the hearts and minds as well. That is exactly what Cathy Thomas does. As a Team Leader, she takes the lead in demonstrating compassion and shows that it takes more than pushing a pin to provide healing and in turn, sets the stage for the nurse she supervises to show compassion as well. Her direct display of compassion has resulted in a return environment where both Patients and Staff can feel safe. In an environment, where one can feel cared for, humane and safe, true healing can begin. She loves what she does, and it shows. Because of this and so much more, Catherine is a true DAISY Nurse.
