Lydia was performing beyond excellent care and compassion towards the patient. Lydia did not hesitate to help and assist the patient to the best of her abilities. She exited the elevator and observed a patient on the ground and without hesitation and with focus, she sprung into action. Assessing the patient's needs. Checking ANO status, and completing as much of an assessment as she could in the elevator lobby with no staff readily available or near at the time. She was outstanding. A Physician passed by and assisted and they worked hand and hand. Upon the arrival of the Emergency Department response team, Lydia gave a detailed report of the patient and her actions taken toward the patient. She then returned to her unit to finish providing care to patients.
