Zeni was our mother/mother-in-law's RN in the Rehab unit. She fell and broke her hip, but we didn’t realize that until after traveling to Texas and then back home to Missouri. She ended up having a hip replacement with Dr. E and given the choice of rehab here or in Texas, we chose to stay here since we saw such great reviews regarding Cox Branson’s Rehab unit. It was the best decision we could have made for Mom.

Every staff member we dealt with was great, but one, in particular, stood out, Zeni! At 89 years old, with major surgery and being physically exhausted, Mom had confusion issues 24/7 for a while. Zeni provided amazing care for her and phenomenal support for our entire family. Zeni is the most compassionate and caring nurse we could have asked for. She was always there to provide reassurance and encouragement. She got to know Mom as a person and us as a family. I have been an RN for over 41 years and I could quickly tell how much Zeni loved her job. It was obvious she was working hard to help all of her patients succeed with rehab.

We looked forward to seeing Zeni each day when we arrived. Zeni’s passion for her patients and their families made a huge impression and impact on us. She stood out as a nurse willing and able to go above and beyond her normal nursing duties. You have a real Jewel in Zeni.
