I am writing to recommend an angel who came into my cousin's family discussion process, in December 2020. My cousin had just informed me of his departure from Earth with his sons and daughter-in-law in his presence.

We had grown closer in the past 5 years and it was very hard to be the strong one in the room. The immediate family and I were discussing what, where, how and when the end of his life and how we could make it easier on him, and us to plan and execute his last wishes.

We were alone in the ICU waiting and in walks Karen. She single-handedly calmed all of our fears, and worries and told us what to anticipate in a very caring way that reassured us of the road we were about to travel. She told us the good, the bad, and what we needed to do pronto!

A calmness came over all of us after her discussion, an angel like her needs to be recognized for the devotion they have for being a caregiver and a nurse.
