She communicated clearly and made follow-up calls as needed to explain the process of obtaining the needed medication. I felt valued and cared about by this fantastic, thoughtful, thorough, compassionate nurse. She truly epitomizes the Mayo motto of putting "the needs of the patient come first". In the medical realm, so many things are confusing and overwhelming. And the patient has a hard time navigating what their options are. I have been inundated with many new things and meeting many new providers. Sarah Brunner was a light and a blessing to me and, I'm sure, to many others. She is truly deserving of the DAISY Award.
