Jovan is always willing to step up and help in this facility regardless of how many other tasks she has.
Mrs. Williams has received several Inspire cards from family members along with several KUDOS from the staff and other members of this facility. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the Veterans have everything they need to heal appropriately.

The situation I want to discuss came from a newly diagnosed diabetic patient that was distraught at the thought of having to self-inject and stick himself daily. The Veteran wrote that Mrs. Williams never judged his fear of needles and that she took her time to educate him about all his options. He was very confident upon leaving thanks to the quality of care and education she provided. She even followed up with him after being discharged.

Mrs. Williams later helped to create diabetic education for all the staff in this facility to utilize. She wanted to ensure that the Veterans knew their options and that they had all the resources to thrive regardless of their diagnoses. Mrs. Williams has created several educational documents for COVID patients along with the COVID callback program. She has also created several templates for the nursing staff to ensure we are continuously improving the quality of care we already give to our Veterans.

Jovan is always willing to step up and help in this facility regardless of how many other tasks she has. From being pulled into staffing to care for COVID patients, COVID follow-up calls, ORIX measures, Care transitions, to Education, she does it all and has never lost her smile or sense of compassion while doing so. The staff, the Veterans and I truly appreciate having a warm smile and a dedicated heart like hers within this facility.
