She was so compassionate. She stayed in touch with the doctors when we needed something and tried to help us figure out what was going on.
My mom came in the hospital and things did not look good. They were trying to figure out what was going on. She appeared to be septic. We really didn’t think she would be ok. She had not been in the hospital in years so on top of just the shock of her condition this medical stuff was new to all of us. We were blessed to have Emaleigh 2 nights out of the 10 days we were here. She was so compassionate. She stayed in touch with the doctors when we needed something and tried to help us figure out what was going on. She made sure my dad and I were comfortable as well. She even came and checked on us while she was working on another floor. I feel she was a true angel. Mom ended up learning she had cancer while here and Emaleigh helped us with that news and get things rolling for when we left. The entire Ochsner team at Jefferson was wonderful and now we drive here when we need anything medical for mom.
