I volunteer at the Sindelar Infusion Department of Mercy South on Thursdays. While at work, I have seen noticeable interaction between Alisia and the patients. She is so kind and compassionate to those in her care. I had sat down during a calm time, Alisia, came and sat down with me. She asked if there was anything she or her husband could help me with as she knew that my husband and I were struggling. My husband is having radiation treatments taking care of the cancer cells in his lymph nodes, so he can have heart valve surgery that is needed. She gave me her personal phone number. The next week she approached me and we talked. The one thing on my plate that was bothering me was cutting grass on a hill in our backyard. She offered that she and her husband would be happy to do that for us. On saturday she and her husband came, cut the grass in the back yard, the hill, and offered to help in other ways. God Bless them both. I know that if we need help, medical or otherwise she would be there.
