I don’t think you can teach this kind of kindness and caring.
As a patient healing from cancer, I can tell you it is a frightening journey. Especially when going through it during the COVID pandemic. Not having your family and friends around can be lonely and scary. Human kindness! Nothing beats it to heal the mind, body, and soul! Grateful for nurses like Reena. I don’t think you can teach this kind of kindness and caring. You either got it or you do not; and I feel so fortunate to have been lucky enough to have been assigned to her.
