Jenny creates a caring learning environment by advocating for her new nurses and protecting their time for learning. She also ensures the staff has the supplies and equipment they need to care for patients. She motivates the team by making education easy and bringing opportunities to IAH. Jenny has been trained to be a TCRN and CPI educator and now provides opportunities for the team to be educated. She even coordinated education opportunities for physicians! Jenny also provides Zoom presentations with CEUs, making learning easy for the ED team.

Not only is Jenny an extraordinary clinical educator, but she is an extremely kind one. She makes time for the ED nurses, but also for new grads across IAH, participating in Nurse Residency and other professional development activities. She listens authentically and spends time understanding the needs of the nurses she cares for. We are very grateful to have Jenny on our team and believe she is a true DAISY Nurse Leader.
