Madison recognized this and asked if she could do some room rearranging to make it more presentable for the patient coming out after losing a newborn.
Background: The loss of our granddaughter. She was born sleeping in the arms of Jesus.
One evening when I came back up to visit my son and daughter-in-love, I noticed a sweet little sign in the corner above the sofa. The sign was a simple white sign with black lettering that read “love is the greatest gift that one generation can leave to another." I’ve been in this room numerous times but did not remember ever seeing that sign. I recall saying out loud to my son, “Well that is a nice sign”. Several weeks later when I was attending a shift meeting, the manager mentioned a “shout out” to Madison for thinking outside of the box for one of our fetal demise families. Apparently, in the room on Mother Baby there is a very nice picture of a mom and baby breastfeeding. Madison recognized this and asked if she could do some room rearranging to make it more presentable for the patient coming out after losing a newborn. Madison may or may not have known, but this patient was my family. She went above and beyond to help with the smallest of details, but in reality, these small acts of kindness were HUGE to us.
