Lacey is our current ACNO and has taken on the role of assisting our CNO with leading nursing at Largo Hospital. She recently transitioned internally from the VP of Quality position, and while she is no longer in that role, she still remains actively engaged in this space to ensure that our patients are provided safe, quality care.

Since becoming ACNO, Lacey has undertaken great responsibilities, including assisting in elevating the patient experience and colleague engagement. Most recently, Lacey implemented "Tutu Tuesday" where staff were provided tutus at no cost to them to wear on Tuesdays to bring smiles to patients and staff. While that is just one example, Lacey continues to motivate nursing staff each and every day by modeling her hard work ethic and sharing her genuine passion for nursing.

When times get tough, Lacey always remains positive and tells silly jokes to make people laugh. Her laughter is contagious. You will never see Lacey in despair or distress, even though the times absolutely call for it. Lacey is a role model for nursing staff at HCA Florida Largo and I am happy to nominate her for the Nurse Leader DAISY Award.

Lacey really is phenomenal. She is so genuine, and you can tell she really cares about making connections with the caregivers she comes in contact with. She is so positive and it's contagious. It is exactly what is needed in a role like hers. She is an amazing addition to the admin team.
