I was diagnosed with renal cancer and I am having my immunotherapy at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain which by the way the most wonderful hospital I have ever been to. It was my second session when I realized how well I have been taken care of.

Theresa Jade is not an ordinary nurse. As soon as she administered the first dose of my immunotherapy medicines, I couldn’t help but notice how gentle and skillful she was while inserting the IV. It was quite obvious that she knew what she was doing. Ensuring my comfortability, I immediately felt I was in good hands with her. Between the two and a half hours of the infusion procedure, she never stopped checking on me and the other patients in the room every so often. “Are you okay sir?” Those were the sweetest words I ever heard that day. She was full of warmth and compassion. It really lightened up my day and reduced the emotional burden. It was quite a comfortable and relieving experience.

Every nurse in this world deserves to be celebrated every day. Nobody can duplicate the heartfelt empathy or the genuine feeling of compassion and care they are giving to their patients. More than us, your patients, you are the true fighter. Despite the toughest journey, the world is happier and healthier because of you. Thank you and KUDOS to all of you!
