Where do I begin? Kayla is one of the reasons I look forward to my day. I met Kayla during my first residency and we clicked. She was the one who saw me as a person first. She took the time out of her day to visit me and sit and talk. She took me for walks outside, which has been wonderful.

Kayla immediately, upon my second residency, found me in the ER to greet me back to the hospital. I am beyond fortunate to have been placed on 2B for a second time. I would have a less positive outlook without her. Her visits can be the best part of my day. She also made my birthday special, thank you, buddy! Kayla started off as a care team nurse but has become a good friend. Who knew when I was discharged I would gain so much? I have enjoyed our talks and visits, jokes, coloring books, and birthday gifts with tulips. I’m so glad she has the job she has or I may have never met such a great person. Kayla is very good at connecting with people. I will forever appreciate Kayla and the joy I get from being around her. Thank you, buddy!
