Her compassionate bedside manner along with a kind and tender heart allowed my mother-in-law and the rest of us to feel more comfortable and confident she was getting the best care.
Our family feels we experienced a “God wink” having Cindy as my mom’s nurse. Her professionalism and knowledge/skill as a nurse impressed all of us. What touched our hearts more, was her empathy, and caring approach to everything. She not only cared for my mom, she genuinely cared for our family. This experience of rushing my mom to the hospital as she is fighting cancer was not only scary and unsettling, but it brought our faith to a different level. So many family and friends, thousands of miles away praying for my mom. Cindy instantly became our family. Every morning and every evening she would let us know we were all in her prayers.
Cindy is an Extraordinary Nurse because of her positive caring energy. She helped my mom feel better. We truly believe she is our Angel on earth. You can see being a nurse is her calling. Cindy will always be an important person to our family. If she ever needed anything we would be there for her in a moment. She’s a special person and hopefully will be recognized for being an EXTRAORDINARY Nurse! She is a reflection on the Leadership and staff of this hospital….. EXTRAORDINARY!!!

Cindy’s positive energy influenced me. Every day she joined me in the morning she had a smile on her face. Along with her smile were kind words. She was always aware of her approach and how she spoke with me. Every day was a roller coaster as I was treated and she always helped keep things in perspective. She didn’t treat me like a number and she was just doing her job. Cindy treated me as a person she truly cared about. The small conversations she had with me were comforting. Her empathy was above and beyond what I would expect with everything she was responsible for as my nurse and taking care of others. She is an Extraordinary Nurse because she makes the “EXTRA” behaviors to make my experience comfortable.

Words cannot express how grateful our family is for this gentle, kind, loving, and sincere nature of Cindy. She picked up on the fact that my father-in-law was hard of hearing. So every communication she had with us, she lowered her mask, spoke slowly and clearly, and faced my father-in-law to be sure he understood what she was saying. Her compassionate bedside manner along with a kind and tender heart allowed my mother-in-law and the rest of us to feel more comfortable and confident she was getting the best care. Cindy went above and beyond with all aspects of her interactions with not only my mother-in-law, but also our entire family. She was always there to answer questions to offer support, to ensure all of us were comfortable, and to keep us up to date. Our family feels so blessed to have such an amazing person care for our mom. Cindy truly is a beautiful soul and is a definite asset to your hospital.
