This is my boyfriend and my first time having a baby. Coming into the hospital we were both terrified, anxious, and did not know what to expect. Monday morning when Kelli arrived, our emotions and attitudes about this whole experience completely changed. The environment here is so much more comfortable and our confidence increased. Kelli had all the answers to the questions we didn’t even think to ask. She explained every process to us in great detail and went the extra step to make sure we understood everything and felt comfortable. Kelli never hesitated to go the extra mile for us, she wanted to. Kelli made this an amazing experience. During labor, her kind words of encouragement made it a lot easier. This was one of the hardest and most stressful experiences we will ever have and there is no one but Kelli we would rather have by our sides. Kelli took the time to make personal connections with us and we got to know one another on a deeper level, our conversations weren’t always medically related. Kelli is the reason we will always be returning to Mahaska Health. Every hospital in the world deserves to have a Kelli Kindley. She is truly a one-of-a-kind person and we will always be so grateful to have met and had by our sides through this experience. We could not have done this without you, Kelli. Thank you!
