From the time she greeted me in my room, I knew that Lizzy was special and concerned about me as a patient. She made me feel at ease and wanted to make this a good surgical experience, tending to my comfort in making sure I was warm and answering my questions and concerns. My anxiety on the day of surgery was not the procedure, but where the IV would go. I have terrible veins and have had bad experiences in the past. Lizzy and I talked about it and she figured out a way to set up the IV comfortably for me, in the crook of my right arm. Absolutely wonderful! All my anxiety was gone and I never even had a bruise. She even came to check on me in postop. Truly an angel of mercy!
