She said that Bree was beyond amazing, describing the why and what, encouraging her as she pushed, and even staying an hour past her shift to be with her and her husband.
Bree was nominated by one of her recent patients after taking care of her during the birth of both children the past few years. She shared that with her first child, Bree was phenomenal. She said that she came into the hospital at 37 weeks due to preeclampsia and was understandably freaked out. She said that Bree was beyond amazing, describing the why and what, encouraging her as she pushed, and even staying an hour past her shift to be with her and her husband.

With her second baby, a little girl born earlier this year, Bree listened to her and stayed on top of everything. She had a very strict birth plan that was supported by Bree every step of the way. An hour after birth, she started hemorrhaging. Bree stayed so calm and got everything under control, saving her life before her OB got there. Bree kept her husband in the loop with what was going on and took the time to make sure he was ok.

After the traumatic experience, this new mom couldn’t hold her newborn baby. So Bree sat on the bed and helped support her so she could hold her new little girl. And she even took the pictures that every new mom wanted but she was unable to do for herself. She concluded by saying that she wanted to nominate Bree for the way she encouraged her and provided such exceptional care. She said that she had never had that kind of care before.
