Carrie entered the room and her lightness and sense of humor made her inquiry about me feel connected. She brought lightness to an anxious morning. Thank you!

My wife was having surgery for a broken finger that wouldn’t heal, but was experiencing anxiety related to trauma from her past hospital stays, in and out of surgeries, etc. CarrieAnn was quick to recognize this and explained that she couldn’t do any sort of sedative until we spoke to the doctor, but did take extra time to chat and fill the gap in a way that had a calming effect and as soon as the surgeon had done his pre-op briefing, she seemed to have prompted the anesthesiologist who was waiting to provide some sedatives. I really appreciate that she took the time to see the person and not just the patient process. She was a calming and positive presence.
