I recently delivered my third daughter, two of the three have been delivered at Memorial Springfield. I was blessed to have Katelynn as our nurse for both of those deliveries. She thoroughly explained all details of my upcoming cesarean, held my hand through the spinal block, and maneuvered through the OR efficiently working alongside our doctor and the other wonderful nurses. She then took care of me and our new babies for the remainder of the day. I didn’t handle the medication well either time, but that never phased her as she remained on top of my side effects with an upbeat attitude and calm demeanor. She interacted with the doctors and nurses with grace and made sure to answer any questions we had. Bringing a new baby into the world can be overwhelming, but Katelynn made both deliveries such a positive experience. We are so grateful to have had her as our nurse.
