Irene is the type of leader you aspire to be like, the one you can learn and grow from. Irene's calm, cool, collected demeanor puts even the toughest nurse at ease. Since the start of my career here at GEHA , in February 2021, Irene's leadership has continued to impress and inspire me. Irene has a unique ability to formulate her conversations with genuine intent and purpose. She is the type of leader that you notice when she enters the room, and when she leaves. Her absence in a meeting or gathering is one that is felt. She brings this poise and intelligence to each encounter, her knowledge base is exceptional. Professionally, the way in which Irene conducts herself and her actions, provides a recipe for complete success. Since the start of my career here at GEHA, I have had the privilege to work alongside her in building the internal Oncology Support Team. Words cannot express my complete and genuine gratitude to Irene for all of her guidance and support. She is efficient, autonomous, professionally assertive, and simply put, AMAZING. I contribute our success of completing the program ahead of schedule, to Irene. Her vision for this program was clear, and her ability to place all the right people in the right place to make it happen is a reflection of a natural leader.
