Jannie is an amazing nurse, who goes above and beyond to make sure her patients are not only comfortable but also makes them understand the treatments. I had the pleasure of having her as my nurse during my stay and she was outstanding. She was the one nurse who was able to get an IV in when no one else could. She made sure I had everything I needed. I needed it, she tracked it down and went to another floor to get it. She showed me respect and dignity when caring for me and made me feel a sense of pride when I was ashamed of my situation. Jannie demonstrated everything a nurse should be while having a positive attitude in everything she did for me. She could not have made me feel more comfortable than she did, and I hope you honor her with this award because she truly deserves recognition for being one of UofL’s outstanding nurses.
