It is with immense honour that I write this letter to recommend Mohammed Shafeek for the DAISY Award. Shafeek has always been a proactive leader, an outstanding nurse in charge, and is always willing to go the extra mile to provide his patients with the best possible care.

He is a dynamic individual who possesses highly admirable characteristics. He is highly skilled and experienced. He was able to assess his patient’s needs quickly and accurately. He develops and implements care plans that are tailored to each individual patient’s needs. He also demonstrated superior communication skills and works positively and collaboratively with all members of the multi-professional team.

In addition to his clinical expertise. Shafeek was able to motivate and inspire his team members and he creates a positive and supportive work environment. He is a great problem solver and is able to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

We are so fortunate to have Shafeek as our Nurse in Charge at NMC Oxford Medical Center on several occasions. He has gone above and beyond to provide the care that is needed for the patient. He is a true inspiration, and I am grateful for his dedication to his patients and his profession.
