Genie is such a wonderful and amazing nurse. She was comforting and so very thoughtful towards my mother and family. She was attentive to my mother's needs and requests. Being compassionate when receiving medical care goes a long way, and Genie was a joy to be around, as she went above and beyond for our family. We are truly thankful for her support.

I'm a patient at MSM and have been fortunate enough to have Genie as my nurse for several days/nights. Based on my experience in various hospitals as a patient and my experience in the corporate world and Wall Street as a c-suite executive, I am certain that Genie is the best candidate for this Award. Genie not only embodies MSM's values but also goes above and beyond the requirements for her role in the organization as she provides exceptional patient care. Genie has outstanding knowledge in the medical field, and is well versed in overall patient care. More importantly, she shows extraordinary compassion toward her patients and puts her heart and soul into her work.

Employees who are interested in contributing to the overall success of an organization are a rare breed. Genie is one of those; her mechanical skills are well beyond her peers, but what really matters is her ability to treat her patients and interact with her coworkers better than anyone I've seen in the hospital. Specifically, she has shown exceptional compassion toward me. I have 3 broken bones in my leg and pulmonary embolism, as well as a very large clot in my leg. I have been in an extraordinary amount of pain. Genie manages my pain treatment schedule amazingly well. Genie also checks on me very often and makes sure I am comfortable. Without her, I couldn't have survived the hospital stay. She always brings sunshine to the room. She is simply exceptional.
