As a person, she is loving, caring, and neutral to all of us. Her personality can brighten a room, and her laughter is infectious.
Ms. Christina made (me) feel as all my pain has gone after she introduced herself. Came to insert a new IV. During the process asked me how are [you]? How is your treatment? Ect. I told her all is well. With such compassion and her soft-spoken voice, she said (Patient's Name), you are already more than well and to go home and see your family. What compassion I said within me!! Now 80% of workers go to work to do whatever is assigned to them. 20% go to work to make that money and rightly so. But Christina goes to her job [because] that is what she loving do which is encouraging patients and comforting patients and take extra time to listen, caring that is from the heart and above all let them know that they still BELONG. And her reward will be from god, not me/us.

Today and many times, Christina personally goes out to buy food or delivers food to patients when she is off. This is one good deed that Christina did among many others. She deserves to be recognized and is overdue. As a person, she is loving, caring, and neutral to all of us. Her personality can brighten a room, and her laughter is infectious.

I have been the Patient Care Director of the Vascular Access Department, and over the years, I have heard many times from patients about her compassion and empathetic nature. She is kind to everyone she sees including our patients or our patients’ friends and families at the bedside, and puts them at ease during what is a scary and painful bedside procedure. Christina ensures her colleagues feel a sense of belonging and appreciation, organizing celebrations within the department to celebrate holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and awards (and she documents it all with her well-known videos!).
