I was a patient here for 5 days. In those 5 days, Jan was only my nurse for one shift. Jan made it a point to check on me every day he was here whether he was my nurse or not. Most days I was not getting better or feeling better. Depression and anxiety were getting the best of me. Jan’s smile and upbeat attitude helped me get the motivation I needed. Jan’s smiles, stories and conversation really made me feel like he cared. Jan deserves this reward. You can genuinely tell if someone is just doing their job or if they LOVE their job. Jan LOVES his job and it shows through his work. Without Jan’s positivity, I may have left against recommendation but he gave me back my motivation.
