I was admitted to NMC for a premature rupture of membranes at 34 weeks pregnant. I delivered 8 days later after induction of labor. I met Amelia previous to delivery and she was nothing short of helpful and kind the entire time for our 11 day stay. Amelia was with me through my whole labor, including inducing, epidural, and the beginning of pushing, and was a huge support to me the entire time. I was very nervous, afraid, that I would have to get a c-section and afraid that my baby would be in too long. After having suffered a pregnancy loss previously, Amelia helped to quiet all of my fears. She guided me to successfully labor and deliver my baby vaginally. She also embraced me in support as I was receiving my epidural. Her kindness was always unwavering, and I always felt like she was there when I needed her. I credit her with making my labor and delivery as stress-free as possible. I hope she is there when I have my 2nd child. She is an angel on Earth. Thank you, Amelia!
