Jorena has worked in the NICU for several years now and on every single holiday has made each baby that is currently a patient in our NICU a special keepsake for the parents to take home. She uses her own resources to buy craft supplies to create these precious projects. The projects usually include either a picture of their little one and/or footprints decorated for the holiday. She will come in from home on her days off to complete these adorable treasures for the parents. Having a baby in the NICU is very stressful for parents and it's so great to see them light up when they see the project by the baby's bedside. In this way, Jorena continually goes above and beyond for our little patients and their parents.
