Michelle always has a positive and caring attitude. She collaborates with staff and is a true team player. When we call Michelle she responds quickly to resolve issues with families. She is an excellent care manager. She spends as much time as the patient needs to make the appropriate decisions about discharge needs and placement. She is compassionate and respectful to others. We had a patient that wanted to be comfortable. She came and talked to the family to help with making palliative care and hospice decisions. Not everyone is comfortable with this topic but she does an excellent job!

There was a frustrated and confused family that needed a palliative consult for their loved one. It was late in the day but Michelle made every effort to make time to educate the family on the choices available even though it made her day run long. Her attention to detail is much appreciated by all of us in PCU. Thank you so much for your consistent drive to advocate for each and every patient.
