Dayana is not just an extremely competent nurse but is also a kind, compassionate and caring caregiver. She went above and beyond to ensure my 92-year-old mom received the most comprehensive care. She was responsive and always had an amazing attitude. She lifted my mom's spirit when she was low and took the time to get to know my mom. Dayana made my mom feel like a person not just a patient. She always listened and answered our many questions thoroughly.

Another example of something that sets this young lady apart is that she encouraged my mom to push herself. My mom had been given clearance to get out of bed on a Friday late in the day. When I mentioned this to Dayana, she got another nurse and got her out of bed and into a chair. She encouraged her throughout the process and made her feel comfortable and confident. This was a turning point in my mom's mindset to get better.

Sunday came and she not only encouraged my mom to get out of bed but to use the toilet instead of the bedpan. Once again, a major boost to her recovery. I can't fully express our appreciation for Dayana and all of the extra care and attention that she routinely gave to not only my mom but to our family. She could have told us that we had to wait until Monday to get her up but instead went the extra mile because she felt it was in the best interest of my mom. Dayana is the perfect example of a caring, compassionate person and a highly skilled professional.
