I ended up having a pretty rough delivery from my perspective. Emily went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and to try her very best to soothe my agony when it came to dealing with contractions. At one point, I had 3 different anesthesiologists try to get an epidural into my back. She made sure to get the anesthesiologist up to the room as soon as I told her I was feeling pain again. When they went to reinsert the epidural for the last time, I was 8 cm dilated and feeling every contraction. It was extremely difficult to navigate through the pain and not to move for epidural but Emily engaged and made sure to try to keep me calm and collected and breathing. I can’t stress enough that nurses are heroes. They really go above and beyond for others. The compassion Emily showed me went above and beyond my expectations, she’s truly one of a kind and is the sweetest soul I’ve ever encountered.
