I was at the Butler VA getting my prescriptions filled and wasn’t feeling well at all. I have amyloidosis, and I have a tough time getting around. I walked past Marci, and she noticed I didn’t look well. I didn’t even really know her. She pulled me into her clinic to check me over and wanted to rush me to the hospital via ambulance, but I refused and drove myself, which is a whole other story. But there have been times I have been at the Butler VA with some flareups from the amyloidosis, and she made sure she put me in a chair and sent me for a workup.

Marci takes control of the situation each time I interact with her. She has always gone above and beyond for me and takes instant action to ensure I am cared for. Her actions caught me off guard, and I struggle all the time with my health and people in general, but she just takes care of me. Few people come along in life that resonate with you, but she is definitely one of them. She is the only nurse who has always made me feel like I am the most important person in her world. I really cannot say enough about her. She is one of a kind!
