My mom was in the hospital and unfortunately, she had a stroke, and I brought her home into Hospice. It was a very difficult time when mom was in the hospital making choices affecting her life. Thank God for Rebecca! She was so kind, compassionate, friendly, professional, and most of all comforting during this stressful time. I would get excited when I knew she was working as my mom would be in great care. If mom wasn’t her patient, and she was working, she would still stop by and say hello or help if needed. Rebecca is a wonderful human being, a nurse, and an asset to Sentara Leigh Hospital. Sorry to say, my mom passed away shortly after. She was my mentor, hero, and my best friend. She is missed every day. Along the journey, Rebecca was a ray of sunshine to my mom. I will be forever grateful that she came into our lives. I will never forget her kindness.
