Salla was extremely comforting from the start. She held my hand, talked to me quietly in a very soothing voice, and confirmed with me that she would be with me until my surgery started. I can't in any words let you know how she made me feel, very peaceful, comfortable, and really being taken care of. Salla made a complete difference in my whole experience. Not to mention she even came and saw me in my room during my week of recovery. She has a special place in my recovering heart. I hope Methodist knows how important it is for her to be staffed there!! I stopped and thanked her while at the hospital for Cardiac Rehab and she told me that I didn't need to do that but I wouldn't have missed the opportunity to see her again and thank her for what she did for me!!!!!
