I would like to nominate LVN Lisa for the amazing work she continues to do. I have been here for a year and have seen her go above and beyond for our providers and veterans. For example, she was completing an appointment with a veteran doing his vitals, he left a few items behind. She made sure he got his stuff before leaving the building. She also helped out with a patient who had a massive migraine. The patient wanted to go home to lie down, Lisa went to go get her ice packs and a bag because she felt like throwing up. Lisa allowed her to lie down in her office to feel better. As the veteran started to feel better, Lisa made sure to walk with her to the car because she felt like passing out. Lisa has always made it a point to make a personable relationship with each veteran. She stops what she is doing just to make sure they are cared for. She goes above and beyond for everything she does. She was moved from Echo Clinic to alpha but still remains available for any needs that are requested. Providers will specifically ask for her. Since I have been here she still continues to go over and beyond. I will see her downstairs wheeling out a veteran when no family shows up for the veteran. She always has a positive attitude and never complains.
