Ever since CJ joined the 3S day shift as the charge nurse of the unit, drastic improvements in interdisciplinary communication and team work has been noted. CJ is extremely kind and caring about our patients. He always knows what is going on with each patient, even when we have a census of 36 patients. When I approach him with a concern, he always jumps into action to help address the problem. He does this while expressing genuine concern and care for the patients. CJ has also been an enormous asset to our SCI task force aimed at obtaining Joint Commission accreditation for a spinal cord injury program. As part of this program, he has taken on additional responsibilities to ensure that the nursing staff are equipped to follow new guidelines that have been put in place. During SCI task force meetings, it is clear that CJ is extremely organized and thorough. He comes prepared and always follows through on addressing tasks delegated to him. I cannot say enough good things about CJ. He is truly an asset to this unit and the hospital as a whole. I feel so grateful to have him as a coworker!
