Ever since Christina became a member of our team, she came with a burst of energy and a sense of belonging to the department. On this particular day, we had a patient come in EMS that was in critical condition, at this same time, Christina was scheduled to leave and had plans. Christina said, “I can’t leave my team with all this going on”. Christina continued working with this patient requiring much care, including PRBCs and FFP. Christina went as far as assuming care for this patient that was not her own. She stayed over and documented on this patient throughout the patient's entire stay. If Christina had left, our team would have managed; however, she stayed and made a difference to the Emergency Department. We are so lucky to have her on our team. She is a valuable asset to our department and to this company. This is just one instance of the amazing nursing care Christina provides. The entire nursing staff and physicians that are working today would like to take this time to say thank you for being the exceptional nurse that you are.
