Stacie was nominated by a first time mother who delivered at Bailey. After a rough night of contractions and slowly progressing, Stacie came on shift in the morning and kept the new mom informed of every little detail about what was happening. She promptly responded to her call lights and was patient with her requests. The mom writes, “It was that moment I wanted to cry and shout for my mom – but I never felt like I needed to because Stacie was always there to put me at ease”. Stacie advocated, coached, and encouraged this new mom through the birthing process. “I could not have done it without her. She kept me at peace, kept my baby safe, and saved my husband from taking on the task of keeping his terrified wife from freaking out. We both think Stacie is amazing at what she does”.
