A patient was discharged with no Foley cath education or catheter supplies, or leg bag. Freda did a follow-up phone call with the patient, and she was tearful and frustrated. Freda offered to take supplies to her home on Illinois Road, and the patient accepted. Freda went after work in the evening with supplies and educated the patient sitting on the porch. Freda needs to be recognized in some way for this. She went out of her way for service recovery.
