Shelbi is an Extraordinary Nurse & deserves to be recognized with a DAISY! Every day she goes above and beyond for her patients, but I want to recognize her for something special. She recently had a patient who had some unfortunate circumstances. This patient was in the ICU on his birthday, and Shelbi went out of her way to celebrate him! Her love for her patient was demonstrated by getting him a birthday banner and card for his room. She also collaborated with the kitchen staff to get him his favorite dessert. This patient was so grateful for everything she did. She took a day for the patient and made it memorable and joyful. Shelbi is a shining example of a selfless and compassionate nurse. It is so admirable to watch her go above and beyond the call of duty.
