I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Dr. M has me on medication, does routine lab work, and sees me at regular intervals. Lincoln checks me in during visits. I have an anxiety disorder. This is the situation where Lincoln provides me with a caring patience and understanding demeanor. We always engage in lighthearted conversations about mutual interests and all the medications I take. It's a pleasant interaction time for me during these highly anxious visits, and when he takes my blood pressure after we've visited for about ten or fifteen minutes, it's always considerably lower than when he checked it the first time.

This is very important for someone like me because the opportunity to be able to "Calm Down" helps me concentrate and understand better when the doctor comes in. Nurses are very busy with many patients coming in back to back. Lincoln has the personality that would reassure any patient that they're not "just a number".
