Maxine has always been committed to the provision of excellent care of ER patients. She not only has a continued desire to further her clinical acumen after years of service, but selflessly shares her knowledge with her coworkers. She sets a consistently professional example and is readily willing to help in any situation. Her dedication to patient advocacy was exemplified when she volunteered to accompany a critical ill patient from the west ER to the east cath lab and back. This patient had significant life threatening injuries and required ongoing complex medical therapy which Maxine delivered without hesitation.
