I would like to recognize an amazing nurse, who went above and beyond to make a sad, worrisome, and scary situation much better by his calm and caring demeanor. Andrew was attentive to my future mother-in-law as she battled pneumonia and COVID, but also to all of us who were there to show our love and support during her struggle to survive. He was extremely patient, thoughtful, and kind and he took the time to listen and answered all of our questions. He explained in detail each step in her care along the way and let us know when we had choices.

She didn't win her battle with COVID. To not be able to hold her hand, give her a kiss on her forehead, or tell her I loved her since we were separated by glass, was something I never thought I would have to experience. Somehow, though, Andrew's sensitivity and thoughtfulness made a world of difference and gave a sense of comfort during a situation we struggled to make sense of. It takes a special person to remain composed, thorough, and compassionate during the loss of a human life-he was all of that and more. From the bottom of our hearts...Thank you.
