We delivered our daughter stillborn. Christine went above and beyond to make sure we were as supported as possible. From the time we arrived till we left she was so compassionate and empathetic. When we arrived, she held me when I cried, helped me get into my gown, and talked me through everything. She made sure the night nurses met me, and knew everything that was going on. During delivery, she held my leg, helped calm me through breathing, and talking me through every step. She calmed my fears and helped ease my mind. After we delivered my beautiful baby, she made sure we got everything we wanted for her. She told me how beautiful my baby was and how strong of a person I was. She made us hand and feet prints, molds, and got us blankets and a teddy bear to take pictures with and then keep. And most special to me is the bracelet that she put on my sweet girl and then gave to me before we left. She also made sure we had lots of snacks and beverages and made sure me and dad were still eating and staying hydrated. She also wiped down my legs, braided my hair, and helped me get my pajamas on as I stood in the bathroom crying over the loss of my baby girl. She made us feel cared about on the most difficult day of our lives, and I couldn’t thank her enough.
