I know patients and families nominate usually, but I had to talk about Gina because most of her patients are not awake when she rushes to save them. I have worked with Gina for years and I have not seen such an energetic nurse. Always running to aid her doctor and save her patients anywhere she is needed not just on 4T. She is always running where she is needed, walking all over the unit, and asking if anyone needs help. Covers other nurses, when they are busy, admitting, discharging, and transferring patients all with a big smile on her face. Always looking after all patients, advocating for them from her heart. Taking care of their families and all their needs.

Every day she is on her feet from 7 to 7 rallying the unit like a police officer guarding her unit making sure everyone is taken care of from patients to family to providers. I can't tell you how many times she came running to aid me on T7 when I had a crashing patient that we could not move fast enough to ICU. How many times she stayed late to aid in caring for a sick patient in the ICU or getting a patient on ECMO. Thank you Gina for all you do; T4 will not be the same without you.
