***

Brenda consistently demonstrates a commitment to excellence! She will always go above and beyond when assisting our staff with whatever need we may have. Recently, she came to our floor to check on a patient’s port that was placed. She came without being asked. She also went and located a bladder scanner for the unit and then went to obtain a cath kit for one of our patients. She constantly shows her commitment to helping our staff with whatever needs we have. She is a true joy to work with. I always know when she is working, we can count on her to be there every time. In addition, she always assists our patients with placing IVs. We cannot thank Brenda enough for her commitment to excellence. Please give this award to this more than deserving nurse who goes above and beyond.

***

Brenda is always eager to help out with anything that is needed. When asked to bring equipment to the unit that was needed for a patient anytime she had time, she showed up five minutes later with the equipment. When it was determined after the scan with the equipment, that other equipment was needed. She went to find the necessary kits and returned within ten minutes. She proceeded to assist with the procedure as it is not a common procedure on our unit. After the procedure was complete, she went to get medicated cream to assist the patient with healing. When she brought the cream, she also ensured the unit staff knew where to get the cream from if it was needed in the future.
