Sarah is gentle, empathetic, and caring - not only for her patients, but the families of her patients. My father has dementia, and has been very delusional, so he’s had to be restrained. It’s very hard for us to see him this way. He has not been able to get a handle on his incontinence and about every hour we have to call the nurse's station to change the bed. Sarah never got impatient with this. She never breaks. She just keeps coming back with wings on her back into the room. Sarah just keeps coming back and helping. I think her heart must be 1,000,000 miles wide. She came on her day off and brought him a weighted blanket because she thought it might help relieve his anxiety. She left it and said that we could keep it. It touches me so greatly that someone cares this much about my dad, who is a complete stranger to her. She's an angel, and I am so grateful for her compassion. It touches my heart deeply and I know Dad feels peaceful in her care. I think she is a diamond in the medical field and I want to celebrate her.
